This profession is mainly based on the development of sites on javascript and on frameworks written on it. That is, at the moment, it is the client side of most sites consists not of just a couple of libraries on jquery, as it was before, and is a whole separate project with its own infrastructure. And if you learn how to properly organize such client functionality, you can easily succeed in this area and create really beautiful and powerful things.
